Shopping Around

I never was in to the consignment, thrift or whatever you would like to call it shopping when we lived down south. Mostly because I was always working. BUT I will tell ya that the consignment and especially the Good Will store's in Camarillo, Thousand Oaks and Westlake Village are simply awesome.
Seriously.
Awesome.

I hate to dig and the stores that I have gone to are so clean and neatly organized and besides the one time that a woman was walking around naked trying on clothes, the people are ever so friendly...well I should say the naked lady was rather nice just...well...naked.

So yesterday the kids were all getting over their colds and I have been fighting one as well but I read that there was a %50 off sale at the Good Will in TO I knew there were times in life when we just need to sacrifice. So we loaded up and went looking for some decor.

Being that it was %50 off there was only about 7 people in the whole store?!
Which made it great since I had all the kids with me.
Natalie stayed home today, but by 10am it was clear she could have gone to school.
Anyways.

We scored this wall art that still had the tags from Target on it!
$12..score
(I don't normally look for clothes at the store. Although I do have to say that I found this beautiful dress a few weeks ago that I bought for $7.99, it fit perfect however the zipper was broken. After I spent $30.00 to have the zipper replaced and then an additional $15.00 to have it dry cleaned I realized I spent over $50 for that dress....good deal not so much. But it is pretty cute)

I got this picture for our bedroom for $19.00 and the little tree things for .99 cents.

I got the candle sticks a few weeks ago there but bought the flower middle thing yesterday, $2!
So worth the trip!

Natalie was having a great time shopping and Noah told her "this is what we do when you are at school all the time" Ha.

So I was feeling rather excited about my great finds and I even let the kids grab something from the toy isle(yes I was just complaining about toys...I have issues).
Anyways.
Natalie picked out this little thing that was still in the box(Target donates all their unsold clearance items to Good Will) and Noah grabbed this giant robot. I didn't check the prices since it was the Good Will and %50 off day.

Well after check out I realized I paid $7 for this robot.

It lights up and talks and is huge.
Why do I do this.

It was a great shopping trip and kind of nice to have Natalie there.
Noah enjoyed having her there too because usually he has to hang out by himself watching my try on stuff.
