How we differ

I simply adore my husband.
He is my sole mate and we have a great time together.
With that said we do differ in a few areas.
Maybe that is why we get along.
But there are certain areas in life that we have completely different...lets say views on.
Like for example.
Our bathroom scale was broken.
I told Jed he should order one on Amazon.
Now when I buy something it takes me about a quarter of the time and I usually just get something that is relatively inexpensive.
When Jed buys something he has to research it for hours/days and comes up with the best produce being it be the most expensive or not.
Now when I gave Jed this assignment of getting a new scale.
Here was my vision...

So with that in mind imagine my surprise when this thing arrives at my door.
Seriously?!
I freaking HATE these scales. They are the ones in the doctors office and up until Jed announced that they are the most accurate scales I always believed they were always about 5-10lbs off. Plus who wants to stand on the scale throw the little thing to 100 and inch your way over and watch hopefully waiting for the thing to balance only to be disappointed when it slams to the top. And don't even get me started on the irreversible emotional damage caused by having to move the little nob thing over 50 more pounds.
Jed purchased this scale when we were in our rental house that only had tile in the kitchen and he was determined to plop that thing right in the middle of the kitchen. Um, no thank you. It was moved to the garage and it is in our garage right now.
Any doctors out there looking for a brand new scale?


Now when Jed and I were first married and he would say he wanted to get a few fish my mind would go here...

But this is Jed's version of a few fish...

Well over the years people change and situations change and well now when Jed says he is getting a few fish this is where his mind goes...

And I know what you are thinking "Erin, stop exaggerating! Why are you showing me a fish store!?" to which I reply...you are looking at a picture of our garage.
