In the midst of moving and all the chaos that comes with that my babies turned one years old.
I have been planning their first for awhile now. I know they will never remember it, but you know what we made it a full year with TWIN babies! I think that calls for a celebration of mass proportion.
So I high tailed it to get the house as ready as possible for the big day and I was sore but very excited :)
The invites...
(Designed by my new go-to invites gal Allyson Linscott)
I decided on Candy Land because I just wanted a fun theme with a lot of colors to choose from.
I raided the store and loaded up on all kinds of candy goodness.

The signs were very cute and this sign fit perfectly in the opening coming into the dinning room.
(signs by my go-to sign gal Ashley Larsen)
When you first walked up the entry stairs I had colored squares like the Candy Land board.

I also had a bunch of pictures from the year of the babies at the top of the entry stairs as well.

Ready for cupcakes.

(The kids cakes were from Von's but the adults cupcakes were from
Missy's cupcakes. I had bought a groupon a while back for them and I picked Lemon Crunch and a Chocolate and Oh My Yumminess! They were so good. She is now my go-to cupcake gal)
The counter set up for the food.

Loves

I was really perplexed as to what games/activities we should have at the party. Then Megan posted on my fb page that I should do a bounce house....duh! I have no idea why I didn't think of that before(probably because I am not used to having a yard). But the kids were in heaven and the bounce guys didn't pick up the bounce house until late Sunday so we had a weekend full of bounce fun.

REUNITED!

The babies appetizer of choice :)

First taste of cupcakes

Emma ate the frosting and then was done with it.

Ryder ate the entire thing and wanted some more.

The Bruesekes came down on Friday and stayed the night. It was SO GREAT to have them here and seriously Amber helped a ton. Especially since Jed decided that morning to put up the mailbox and was all but consumed with that project all morning(on a sad side note someone ran over our mailbox the next day).

What can I say about "My Christin" but that CLU is a great collage...hint. hint.

Opening presents

The babies were very excited with all the bows and ribbon that they got...and they loved the toys too :)

Thank you! Thank you to everyone that came. Sorry I don't have pictures I only took pictures at the beginning because I was too busy socializing with all our wonderful friends that we have made here and the of course our wonderful friends who came up.
And you too mom :)

What a fun weekend!! The kids keep asking when we can go back. We will definitely do it again!
And...that was me - not TJ :)
PS is that the right link for the cupcake lady?? It says she is in San Fran and I didn't see the yummy lemon cupcakes that we had.
Ok, I'm done commenting :)
It's wasn't the right link...I changed it :) And those were tasty.
