Just a few spots

I have finally feel like our house is a home.
There are only about 9 boxes left and they just so happen to belong to Jed.
But I won't be to hard on him since he has been swamped at work lately.

I do have a few spots at our house that I just love.
First would be the kitchen....which I didn't take a picture of. But it's a good size kitchen. It's funny to think back 8 1/2 years ago to our itty bitty tiny tiny studio in Long Beach and our kitchen was about the size of a coat closet....as a matter of fact I think our new kitchen is about the size of that little apartment.

I love our pantry. It's nice to be able to see all the food we have. I swore when we moved in that I would always keep it closed....um yeah it's always wide open.

I love this mirror. We bought it from the sellers and it's the first thing you see when you come up the entry stairs. We haven't had a full length mirror for a few years. I used to stand on the toilet to get a full body shot. My grandma always said that you have to keep a full length mirror in your house that you will pass by daily because it will keep you skinny. It does remind me to stand up straight every time I go by it :)
I found this idea on Pinterest. It's Where the Side Walk Ends poems. They turned out really cute and I want to frame some more for the kids rooms.

This is the view from the babies room. They certainly have the best view in the house. We really love our backyard a lot.

I love this! It's my grandmas China. She got it when she got married in 1946. It's really beautiful and we bought this hutch from the sellers just to showcase it.
I have a lot more favorite spots I'll have to share later.
But we are settling in and we just love our neighbor hood! There are a lot of kids and a few families we go to church with within walking distance. We love our new ward and it's of fun to know that we will be there for probably ever, if not ever then pretty close :)

I too love your pantry and the mirror - two of my favorite things in your house. The other thing I love - the laundry shoot!
