Two Months
ONE YEARS OLD!
Ryder

~Very much enjoys banging his head on the back of the highchair.
~Loves to repeat everything you do. If you look at him and stick out your tongue he does the same, if you shake your head or do something with your hands he does it as well. If you say a word he says "Da!" we think he speaks German.
~Is completely weaned and has been for about a month now. He loved his bottle but now takes a straw sippy cup.
~Takes two naps a day and goes down at 7pm and wakes up around 6:30am
~Has two teeth, thank goodness because he is a biter.
~Loves to take a bite out of Emma.
~Is standing without assistants took one step but not really any closer to walking.
~Had the stomach flu for the first time :(
~Makes an awesome fish face

~Is so dainty in everything she does(is she really my child?)
~LOVES to play with balls
~Is now weaned. It was pretty hard. Every other time I tried weaning with any of the other children(Ryder included) they just sort of lost interest and gradually moved to a bottle or sippy. But Emma would nurse all day if I let her. But it was time. So I tried every bottle there was and she would just flat out refuse to even try. She was crawling around the kitchen and saw a bottle on the ground and started screaming. I finally was able to get her to take a straw. She now loves her zippy.
~Four teeth
~Takes two naps a day and goes down around 7pm and up about 6:30. She is always the first to wake up and last to fall asleep.
~Squeals a lot.
~Hates bows or headbands :(

I finally let them have blankets in their cribs. Ryder enjoys having his blanket over him while Emma likes to lay on top. Between Christmas and their birthdays they are well equipped in the toy department. They love to play in their new room and it's really nice because they will just play in there while I do some stuff in the bedrooms. They play well together and crack each other up. Ryder bites Emma all the time and loves to hit her repeatedly on the head. I've noticed that they play with other babies as well. Normally at this age babies just play near each other not with each other. But when they are around other babies they try playing with them the other babies usually aren't that receptive to it. Their favorite game to play with each other is simply to hand each other toys and they laugh so hard every single time. They play with each others hands when we are driving. It's really cute it looks like they are holding hands. All you know what breaks lose if I pick one up and not the other. I am also really glad they are on the small side because I get to use my Snap n Go longer. Not to mention carrying them both up and down these stairs is pretty tiring :) They really are just adorable and I can't get enough of my twiners and I really CAN NOT BELIEVE that they are ONE YEARS OLD!?
