I often will do a sort of half bath where I use a wet wash cloth and wipe down their heads and butts.
It's not because I don't love giving baths. I bathe my other two every day.
It's simply because the babies HATE taking a bath.
I have no idea why.
I usually bathe them(if I have to) after they eat dinner.
Sometimes I bathe them in the sink sometimes I pull out the bathtub that goes into the sink.
If the babies see me opening the cabinet above the sink where their soap is they start screaming.
Even if I am getting something else.
And forget about it if I take out their tub.
The thing is that I will grab one and as I am bathing that one the other will SCREAM as well.
Plus bathing them is like trying to give a bath to a cat.
They scream, they scratch and try desperately to get out.
Then when it is all said and done I dry them off and they are still screaming.
Then I give the second baby a bath and they to go nutty trying to get out all while the baby I just gave a bath to is still screaming.
After it's all said and done the babies are exhausted and so am I
Ryder is still recovering because he took his bath last.
But they LOVE watching the big kids.
I have not a clue why they hate taking baths so much.I've tried doing it super quick, I have tried talking to them telling them it's okay, I have tried all different temps of water.
My other kids loved baths!
Anyone else ever have kids that hate being clean?

Isabelle HATED baths. From about 8 or 9 months up till she was almost 2, I would only put an inch or two of water in the tub, because she would just stand there and scream at me the whole time. It was a very slow process to get her to like them. And even then, she fought washing her hair till, heck, she still hates getting her face wet and freaks when water gets near her eyes. Good luck! And I love their little robes too. Way cute!
