About Me

Jed and I were married in June of 2003. We started our adventure in Long Beach in a small and I mean small studio. I both love and hate that studio. Love it because of the many memories I have of us getting to know each other as husband and wife and hate it because it was the size of a closet. In that closet we welcomed Miss Natty-Lu into our life after almost 3 years of marriage. We couldn't believe that we had created something so perfect and so small and spent so much of our time cooing over our little lady. We then moved to our two bedroom apartment in Long Beach that seriously felt like a mansion. I began staying home taking up little jobs here and there while Jed finished school and crammed for his DAT test.

In April of 2007 we found a great managing job in Garden Grove that would allow me to work from home and provide for us while Jed went to USC Dental School(and yes it is quite the commute). We quickly moved in and decided to procreate once again. We had Mr. Noee in June of 2008 and we couldn't get over how perfectly he fit right into our family. Natty-Lu instantly fell in love with her little brother and it was the start of a very special bond.

I couldn't love my babies anymore. Motherhood is an amazing and humbling journey. Over the last 6 years we have had our share of hardships and a few meltdowns but I have to say that I truly love my life. I married the right man that I know I will be with for eternity and I have an amazing family. My blog is a story of both the good, the bad and humorous times here at The Huss Homestead.
